“The women of SWIFS are advancing their careers while paving the way for tomorrow’s female leaders, and ultimately, changing the face of our industry."”

— Erin Linehan / SWIFS Co-Founder

Featured News

Since 2021, the SEC has cracked down on firms failing to retain and supervise off-channel communications (OCC), issuing over $2 billion in fines. But beyond the financial penalties, these violations carry serious risks in investor litigation and regulatory investigations. As OCC issues surface in lawsuits and compliance reviews, firms must navigate complex legal battles, data preservation challenges, and potential reputational damage.

Understanding how to proactively manage OCC can make all the difference—before the SEC or a courtroom gets involved.
